DeuS Heroes

Deus HeroesOur goal is to honor and highlight Christians who have overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges, or who have made exceptional contributions to others and their community through their art (BJJ, MMA, Boxing).

These heroes could be your teammates, training partners, professors or those you have had the opportunity to see in action. You will be the one who nominates and potentially brings their deserving stories to a larger audience.

Here are some suggestions and answers to frequently asked questions:

  • Give careful thought to what makes your nominee special. What makes them stand out? What have they accomplished or achieved through combat sports that makes people take notice? What impact has his or her work had on others and their community?

  • After you fill out the form and hit "Submit" we'll send you an email confirmation your nomination has been received.
  • Nominations must be in the name of a single individual, at least 14 years of age, whose accomplishment occurred (or continued) after November 1, 2015. Groups and organizations are ineligible for consideration. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
  • Please make every effort to provide as much contact information as possible. We require either an e-mail address or telephone number so we may quickly contact your nominee to obtain permission for consideration as a DeuS Hero.
  • The top ten nominees will be introduced March 2016 and the audience is encouraged to vote online for the DeuS Hero of the Year.
  • Each of the five recipients will receive a DeuS gift bag that correlates with their individual sport
