Farmers Market Annual Charity Event

Posted: Nov 11 2014

In cooperation with the Lighthouse Church of Costa Mesa, members of the DeuS Fight team spent most of Saturday at the Farmers Market in Garden Grove. The Church of the Nazarene in Garden Grove hosts an event twice per month feeding and ministering to the local community. This past Saturday was their annual event. We had a showing of over 500 people from ages 1 year all the to 70 years old. There were bouncy castles for the kids and food. DeuS Fight was able to donate over 200 shirts, sweaters, and other products along with hot dogs, pizza, and other food. It was an amazing experience. Along with the live entertainment, Channel 3 news showed up, local businesses like 7 Eleven participated, and there were even pastors from San Diego in attendance. This is an event we would be honored to attend in the future and is an example of how little things in your own local communities exemplify the Deus Fight spirit and go a long way.

Crowds waited outside of the church grounds for over 3 hours winding the block until the crews were set up and ready to get started.
